Hello! My name is Edith. I am a Hong Kong designer, wife, and mom – who has been chasing her jewellery making dream for more than 15years.
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always loved to go to jewellery shops, and just look at jewellery. The sparkling parts always attracted me. I just wanted to see and learn about the design.
A few years later, I moved to Canada for university. I met a lady in Calgary, Alberta who was also a big fan of jewellery; she told me about the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). That was how I started my GIA journey. I completed my diamond, pearl and professional jeweller diploma certification by 2002. Along with this, I also took gem identification classes.
Over the next 15 years, I got married, moved to Australia (and then Brunei) and had two beautiful children. All the while, I was still dreaming of how to pursue my love of jewellery.
In 2018, we moved to Malaysia. (Yes! Another move!!!). Fortunately, I found an excellent jewellery teacher in Kuala Lumpur. I took every single step to learn how to make jewellery from the very beginning, to where I am now. I enjoy every minute of it!
Now I have my own jewellery workshop at home, where I have been able to make all the creations you see here on my website. This is me, fulfilling my jewellery dream. On Instagram, you can see how I have continually upgraded my skills. I hope you like the jewellery that I make.
